Just over 23 GB will be available on the 32 GB variant of the Galaxy S6

There has been a lot of side talks about the lack of external storage option on the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge ever since Samsung announced the duo at MWC. Samsung made that hard choice in favor of sexy design that can reflect light. But everyone knows that it is less expensive to buy an external 64 or 128 GB SD card than to opt for a device that has the same storage capacities built-in. As was reported earlier today, some Samsung faithfuls are not happy with the new development of not having an external storage option on the Galaxy S6. Though Samsung is throwing in an Active variant of the S6 to appease them.

Fans of the Galaxy S6, who don't feel the need for an external storage should keep in mind that the entire 32GB internal storage will not be available to users, because the operating system and pre-installed apps are going to take a huge share out of it. Users who opt for the 32GB variant of the Galaxy S6 or the Galaxy S6 Edge, will only be able to use just over 23GB for their music, videos and apps. User who chose the 64GB variant will have about 55GB of usable space, while users with the 128GB will be stuck with about 119GB of space. So if your Galaxy S6 storage capacity is lower than you expected, it's normal.

Note that these numbers may vary depending on region and mobile carrier.

Huawei is working on a lite smartphone running Lollipop; P8 Lite likely

Several leaks about Huawei's next flagship smartphone (the  Huawei P8) has been flowing on the internet for some time now. The phone maker has even sent out invites for the release of the P8 that will happen on April 15th. But it looks like Huawei will not launch the P8 alone on that day. A mysterious device with model number ALE-UL00, and exactly the same design as the P8 has shown up on TENAA's website for certification.

Although the smartphone looks exactly like the P8, it has less good specs, which indicates that it could be a light variant of the P8. It features an unknown 1.2 GHz octa-core processor, 2 GB RAM, 5-inch 720p display, 5 megapixel front camera and a 13 megapixel main camera. The device will run Android 5.0 Lollipop with Emotion UI out of the box. It could be launched alongside the P8 on April 15th.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Active could come with MicroSD card slot

Samsung failed to add a microSD card slot to both the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge because it wanted the devices to look sexy enough. But that was a deal breaker for some of its customers who prefer a device with an external storage option and a welcome development for the hardware-hungry customers with no love for external storage come what may. However, it Seems Samsung will never abandon its faithfuls who've never abandoned the company even during its "Plastic Is Better" days

Reports has it that Samsung is working on another variant of its flagship smartphone, dubbed the Galaxy S6 Active. The device will features specs that a similar to the Galaxy S6, but with no pulse sensor or fingerprint sensor. The camera is said to be less good compared to the Galaxy S6, but may come with OIS. It may also feature a MicroSD card slot. You can find out more details about the report in the links below.

So if you are a fan of Frank Underwood’s pragmatism (something Legere certainly seems to be) or a disciple of Walter White’s chemistry, the T-Mobile/Netflix duo has you covered with the free subscription that’s worth over $100.

HTC to announce the One M9 Plus on April 8

HTC One M9 Plus
Where everyone is looking forward to the One M9, HTC is busy preparing to announce another variant of the devices, with dual camera, bizarre looking fingerprint sensor and a bigger QHD display on the 8th of April 2015. As can be seen from the image above, the One M9 Plus looks very much different from the original One M9. The back of the phone is identical to that of the One M8, while the front got treated to a fingerprint sensor.

The device features a Mediatek MT6795 64-bit octa-core processor, 3 GB of RAM, 5.5-inch QHD (2560x1440) display, 32 GB storage, fingerprint sensor, BoomSound speakers, and a dual camera setup that looks similar to that of the One M8. Although the device has a dual camera setup that resembles that of the One M8, it still features the same 20-megapixel sensor in the original One M9.

The device will be announced in china, as can be seen from the image below. There are no words on the international availability of the device at the time of writing.
